Four years ago, you entrusted in me the opportunity to serve on the City Council and we
have turned around the city and are moving forward.
In the last 4 years our city has stabilized and consolidated city management, cut Council
pay, stopped wasteful spending, reduced spending 13% and balanced our budget without
dipping into reserves. We now have 3 consecutive years of reduced crime.
We have attracted new businesses, improved and enhanced senior programs, maintained
free after school and summer programs, reestablished our local cable television station,
and have kept our city events such as Race on the Base and the 4th of July celebration.
In the next 4 years, my number one priority will be economic development and
revitalization of our downtown. I will also focus on our public safety, improving programs
for our seniors, and continuing to promote our parks and recreation programs.
A Navy veteran and graduate of USC, I will continue my service to the Casa Youth
Shelter, Los Alamitos PTA, Chamber of Commerce, AYSO 159 Soccer, and the St. Isidore
Historical Plaza.
My wife and I are raising our 3 children in Los Alamitos.
